2001 996tt Battery Box Debacle

This is the battery support tray out of my 2001 996tt Porsche. New cars aren't supposed to have these "old car" problems!  Well, I can tell you firsthand, this happened. Check your battery tray and make sure you catch it before it is too late. Instead of replacing this tray, I will have it restored and powder coated for a better than new repair. A few years ago I fitted the monster battery to this car since they are prone to leaving you stranded if you forget to arm the alarm. Instead of doing that modification all over again, we will get this thing coated in bombproof material!
