Our client came in with an idea to build an RS Clone using a 1972 911T engine. This is a 3R magnesium case. In its original form is was a 2.4L with MFI. Staying true to the RS, we are staying with the MFI and increasing the bore with new Mahle pistons and cylinders in 90mm form. This little motor needs to look as good as it runs! So, we have spent a tremendous amount of time making this 40+ year old engine look fantastic. Here are a few images of the teardown, cleaning and assessment process.
